The New Hope Art Auction is currently in progress at the beautiful Naperville Fine Art Center and Gallery in Naperville.

2. The amount you wish to bid (see starting minimum bid amounts in the info below)

PLEASE NOTE:

The gallery is open for viewing the art in person from Wednesday January 6th until Friday, Jan. 8th.
I will post the updated bidding in the PM on Tuesday, Jan. 5th, Wed. Jan. 6th and Thursday Jan. 7th.
I will close the bidding at 10AM on Friday, Jan. 8th.
I will contact winning bidders by PM on Friday, Jan. 8th.
You may pick up/pay (cash/check only please) for the artwork on Saturday, Jan. 9th between 10AM/3PM.
I will collect all unsold art or art not picked up by Saturday, Jan. 9th between 3 -4PM.

This is a very different year and a very different auction. Please be patient and I am open to suggestions for improvement, although I hope we don’t have to do this again!
I know the photos do not do the art justice, but I tried to reduce any glare and/or distortion. When possible, I included a photo sent from the artist without the framing and glass.
Please excuse any errors in advance 🙂 This is my first venture into online only. I hope all errors are minor.

There will be no reception or live auction on Saturday this year, and I will very much miss seeing all my artist and Cat Guardian friends.
I would encourage anyone who can to stop the gallery (masks required) and see the artwork up close. If you use the computer, just brighten your screen to get the best look at the color and detail.

Earrings have an oxidized satin finish on the silver to suggest the texture of fur. “Hello” Cat is concave, while “Goodbye” Cat is Convex. I used a premium Sterling lever back ear-wire.
Artist Statement: Cats are quirky, one minute you see their pretty face , and the next moment they’ve turned around, and are gone in a flash….. I currently have 2 black cats, so when I do get to see their beautiful faces, often all I see are eyes and whiskers
